Beeson Training Room (Cairns Library at the John Radcliffe Hospital) Capacity: 15
Description
Depending on the layout of the room the capacity is as follows:
- Up to 15 people with desks.
- Lecture style 20, no desks
Note: The Beeson Room is for groups of 6 to 20 people. The Cairns Library has 2 smaller rooms for indivudal use or or groups upto 6 - which are available to book by emailing: hcl-cairns@bodleian.ox.ac.uk
Wi-Fi: the following networks are available: Bodleian Libraries; Eduroam (University members only), OUH Guest.
A large screen TV is available in the room where you can link your laptop via HDMI to the screen.
Hybrid set up is also available.
Laptops are available for use by prior arrangement. Please email hcl-cairns@bodleian.ox.ac.uk to discuss requirements
Powersockets are available round the edge of the room.
Drinks with lids are allowed within the room. Cold food is also allowed.

The Beeson Room is within the Cairns Library on Level 3 of the Academic Centre at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Headington Please let desk staff now you have arrived for your booking From within the Cairns Library, head to the back right hand corner where you will see a corridor. Once in the corridor go through 2 doors and the Beeson Room is in front of you. There is a lift to the 3rd Floor of the Academic Centre. To access the library you will need either a Bodleian Health Care Libraries card or University card - staff can let you in during staffed hours.
