Networking lunch for new postdocs In-Person
Sign up for a networking event and pizza lunch with the Radcliffe Science Library! We know it can be tough being a new postdoc and there is a lot of information to learn. We’ll give a brief overview of some useful services for MPLS and MSD available to postdocs and provide plenty of time for you to meet and talk to your colleagues from various Departments. This event is aimed at new postdocs who have been in Oxford for less than two years.
There will be brief updates from the following service providers explaining why their service is useful to you as a postdoc:
- Oxford Research Archive (Symplectic and Open Access)
- Research Data Management
- iSkills training programme
- Gardens, Libraries, and Museums (for you and your family)
- Radcliffe Science Library
And then pizza lunch in the Radcliffe Science Library! All our speakers will be available during the lunch for questions and discussion.
The talk will take place in the Reuben College Lecture Theatre followed by lunch in the Radcliffe Science Library.
Remember to access the Radcliffe Science Library and all Bodleian Libraries, you'll need your University card.
We may use a photographer to capture parts of the event. There will be places to sit with no photography If you do not wish for your image to be used, please indicate on the booking form.
