Struggling to find time for reading an important paper? Too busy in the lab to write that chapter of your thesis? Are distractions stopping your from focusing? Try our library pomodoro study session to get -

  • Protected time for you to focus on a task.
  • A quiet, distraction-free environment.
  • A study technique to increase productivity and reduce procrastination.

The session provides a quiet group study space at the Radcliffe Science Library where you can spend 2 - 3 hours focusing on your work. A member of library staff will run the session according to the pomodoro study technique which involves study blocks of 25 minutes followed by 5-minute breaks.

Tea and coffee will be provided and the final 30 minutes of the session will provide an opportunity to review your progress and socialise with colleagues.
