DPhil visit to Harcourt Arboretum In-Person
Reconnect with nature at Harcourt Arboretum.
This wellbeing tour will explore the various habitats at the arboretum. We’ll take in some natural history, plant lore and history along the way, and also learn about the conservation work taking place and stories of hope and renewal from the natural world. The tour will be outdoors and on uneven footpaths, so please dress for the weather and terrain.
The tour will be led by Rodger Caseby from the University of Oxford Botanic Garden and Arboretum.
More information on the Arboretum is available on the Arboretum website.
All DPhils are welcome.
You are welcome to make your own way to the Harcourt Arboretum. We will meet at the entrance (Oxford Lodge Peacock Gate) at 10.50.
We will also be accompanying a group from the Radcliffe Science Library. Library staff will guide you from the Radcliffe Science Library to the x40 bus and the to the Harcourt Arboretum. We will be leaving the Radcliffe Science Library promptly at 10am.
Please indicate on your registration form how you will travel to the Arboretum.
There will be no charge for the Arboretum visit or tour but attendees will have to pay for their own transportation.
